Experience: Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required

License: Must have license in hand before applying

Certifications: ACLS, BLS required (BLS must be AHA), CPI preferred

Must-Have: Telemetry skills required, no locals within 50 miles

Description: This is a 13-week assignment. Applicants must have a current nursing license before applying. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry is required. Certification in ACLS and BLS is required, with BLS being from the American Heart Association. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification is preferred. Experience with telemetry skills is required. Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered. Familiarity with Pyxis medication system and MedHost documentation system is necessary. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. This position is located in a very rural area with attractions such as national parks and state parks. Housing options are available with special rates.
