Job Opportunity: Pediatric Epileptologist
We are looking for a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Epileptologist to join our Pediatric Neurology Division at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
About Our DivisionOur division consists of 11 Pediatric Neurologists, including 2 specialized in pediatric epilepsy, operating within our NAEC Level 4 Epilepsy Center. We serve one of the largest geographical areas in California and are part of one of the nation's largest children's hospitals.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of our epileptologists include:
- Video EEG monitoring
- Evaluations for epilepsy surgery
- Outpatient clinics, including a multidisciplinary complex epilepsy clinic
- Interpretation of outpatient EEGs
- General pediatric consultation services
- Teaching and educational activities for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students
Our team also includes 1 adult epilepsy neurosurgeon, 2 pediatric epilepsy neurosurgeons, 6 adult epileptologists, 1 neuroradiologist, 2 pediatric neuropsychologists, a pediatric neurology nurse practitioner, and a ketogenic dietitian. We offer surgical, neuromodulatory, and dietary services tailored for children.

Compensation and BenefitsThe starting base salary for this position ranges from $242,000 to $265,000, depending on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which are determined by departmental compensation plans. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
