Clinical Supervisor-RN

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Supervisor-RN to provide weekend leadership for our nursing team. In this role, you will coordinate and oversee patient care, supervise nursing staff, and ensure adherence to clinical, quality, and safety standards. You will manage staffing and patient assignments, support evidence-based practice, and collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. As a key resource on weekends, you will mentor nurses, address patient and family concerns, and help foster Mercy’s culture of compassion, diversity, and professional growth. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401k. Job Responsibilities Provide weekend clinical leadership and supervision for nursing staff on assigned units. Oversee and coordinate patient care, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments to support safe nurse-to-patient ratios. Support and mentor nurses through coaching, feedback, and real-time clinical guidance. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Conduct patient rounds, address concerns, and promote a compassionate patient and family experience. Monitor documentation, adherence to protocols, and effective use of EHR systems. Assist in onboarding and training of new staff and support continuous professional development. Escalate and manage clinical issues, incidents, and emergencies promptly and effectively. Promote Mercy’s culture of compassion, diversity, and collaboration in daily operations.
