What you'll be doing As a full‑time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will help customers explore and purchase Verizon products and services while building long‑term relationships and advancing your sales career. Generate retail sales by leveraging your passion for cutting‑edge technology and exceptional customer service. Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions. Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete, top‑down sales solution. Close sales using strong communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple, intuitive tech solutions. Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory. Grow your customer base by making outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who may be interested in our products and services. Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off‑site Verizon‑sponsored events. Benefits and Compensation Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour. You can earn up to $18,000 a year in commission and potentially an additional $14,500 or more, totalling $65,000+ to $75,500+ annually. The starting base pay rate for the location listed is $18.27 per hour. What we're looking for High school diploma or GED One or more years of relevant work or military experience Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known four weeks in advance) Openness to pick up additional shifts for increased income, typically during summer months, November–December, and peak vacation periods Experience working in a commission‑based environment (preferred) Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions Customer service experience (preferred) Where you'll be working Work onsite at a defined location(s).
