Position Overview

Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess experience in providing both acute and chronic respiratory care to patients. A strong understanding of the operation and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
• Manage respiratory therapy services, implementing therapeutic interventions according to school practice standards.
• Utilize advanced equipment and techniques to deliver care, including mechanical ventilation management, and provide emergency respiratory support, as needed.
• Educate patients on both disease prevention and health maintenance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a healthcare setting.
• Certification as a Respiratory Therapist (State requirements may apply).
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital setting
• Advanced certifications in specialized respiratory care areas
