We are looking for a full-time Driveaway Shuttle Driver/Porter to assist with delivering customer vehicles to various locations. (In Transit Plates and Placards)Adhere to all Rules of the Road, which includes obedience of all speed limits.While in the VASCOR storage yards, comply with all safety-related recommendations.Advise Van Lead if a vehicle is low on gas, has a flat tire, or has dead batteries.QualificationsEssential Skills and Experience:Education:Prefer High School Diploma or GED.Training:Training will be provided on the job.Skills:Basic driving skillsExperience:Must have a valid operator's licenseHave a minimum of 5 years of driving experienceAcceptable driving recordNonessential Skills and Experience:TeamworkCommunication SkillsAttention to detail to meet internal and external customers' needs with the ability to adapt to meet these needs.Must be able to understand and adhere to the communication and facility processes of both internal and external customers.Must be able to take direction and act accordingly.Must conduct oneself in a professional manner.Must be dependable to meet job requirementsPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Lifting to 25 lbs. 1-3 hrs. Throughout the day.Standing 6-8 hours/day.Walking, 6-8 hrs./day.Reach above shoulder level 1-3 hrs./day.Bend, Stoop, Squat, and or twist-Repeatedly throughout day.Environmental:May be exposed to excessive noise depending on job location and operations in progress.Will be working around moving machinery and equipment daily.May be exposed to marked changes in temperature and /or humidity.May be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, radiation, chemical depending on the work location.Potentially walks on uneven ground.The employee is expected to adhere to all company policies and to act as a role model in the adherence to policies.
