The ideal candidates will be passionate about providing high-quality care and supporting clients on their path to wellness. Key Responsibilities Assess the mental and behavioral health status of clients. Provide counseling and therapy to scheduled patients in alignment with professional counseling standards. Identify patients experiencing urgent mental health conditions (e.g., suicidal, homicidal, psychotic) and make timely referrals to appropriate emergency or psychiatric facilities. Document counseling sessions, assessments, interventions, and recommendations to meet medical record and provider requirements. Provide group and family therapy sessions as clinically indicated. Participate in a team-based approach to patient care and treatment. Contribute to quality care through peer review, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation of all clinical and counseling services, including billing details, to ensure compliance with third-party reimbursement. Ensure accurate and consistent use of encounter forms for all client contacts with behavioral health providers. Maintain and update professional knowledge and proficiency through continuing education, staff meetings, workshops, and participation on committees. Skills & Qualifications Completion of an accredited program with certification and licensure as an LCPC or LGPC in the state of Maryland. Minimum of two years full-time experience in outpatient mental health counseling preferred. Must meet and maintain current PHC credentialing and privileging requirements. Position Details Full-time, part-time, and weekend schedules available. Flexible outpatient hours (no on-call requirements). Offices open Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm. Three convenient office locations within 30 minutes of Baltimore. Contractual, full-time, and part-time options available. Compensation: Salary based on experience and hours worked.
