OVERVIEW

The Project Engineer / Site Superintendent will support industrial projects in the Houston / Gulf Coast region and manage designated field activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The role will coordinate with owners, suppliers, subcontractors, licensors, and other related parties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review project drawings and specifications.
• Estimate project costs and manhours.
• Support preconstruction planning, project budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate materials and subcontract work according to project specifications and contract documents.
• Conduct site visits and inspections of subcontractors and vendors.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractor and project progress.
• Communicate project schedules, construction methods, safety, quality control, permits, and company procedures.
• Attend daily/weekly project progress meetings.
• Manage project closeout activities.
• Build effective relationships with customers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineering Degree (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) and/or Construction Management Degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the industrial or construction field.
• Working knowledge of construction contract language and terms.
• Ability to estimate project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions under tight deadlines.
• Ability to organize people, tools, and equipment and manage multiple activities.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to review daily logs and monthly project reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, and Outlook.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and possible holidays as required by the project schedule.
• Willingness to travel to project sites in the Gulf Coast and occasionally other U.S. locations.
