We offer the highest quality services to physicians, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, and hospitals.One of our many strengths is we develop strong collaborative relationships with each of our referring physicians by offering accurate, prompt, and clear diagnoses in a personal and customized manner.Sagis is looking for a PRN Specimen Collector in East Dallas to cover multiple locations to include Tyler, TX when needed.Schedule PRN: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.Covering multiple locations in East Dallas and Tyler when needed. Mileage reimbursement applicable.Facilitate the collection, processing, handling, and shipping of urine and oral fluid specimensFollow policies and procedures to correctly identify the patientProperly label specimens and complete the requisition form via paper or online portalFollow policies and procedures to properly package and ship specimensDemonstrate customer service & compassion when interacting with patients, physicians, and clinic staffCommunicate with, understand, and react effectively to a diverse patient population baseFollow universal precautions and all OSHA standards when handling specimensStrictly adhere to HIPAA guidelinesInform Supervisor of daily tasks, unusual problems or deviations from established proceduresAdhere to all Standard Operating Procedures of Sagis while working at the physician’s officePick-up, package and ship the specimens when neededHigh-school or equivalent requiredMinimum 1 year of specimen collector experience preferredAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsExcellent customer service skills requiredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite requiredProficient in data entry requiredUrine Drug Screening (UDS) collection experience highly preferredClean driving record and valid driver license requiredReliable mode of transportation requiredSupervisory Responsibility:This position has no supervisory responsibilitiesWork Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a clinic/medical office/lab settingPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this jobWork Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Sagis Pllc
