Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Per Diem

Molecular Imaging Technologist I (Nuclear Medicine Technologist) - Radiation Oncology (Per Diem) City of Hope – Duarte, CA. Position is a per diem role in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Responsibilities Deliver a prescribed and planned course of radiation therapy to patients of all ages. Operate MRI control console for each patient’s scan, selecting proper imaging techniques and operating various peripheral hardware. Reinforce recommendations given to patient by healthcare professional concerning reaction to treatment and care of radiated area, prevention, or treatment of generalized and local side effects. Perform simulation procedures as prescribed by physician and assist in dosimetry procedures. Perform diagnostic testing on equipment, general maintenance, and quality assurance as is appropriate. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program. New Graduates accepted. California State Certification in Nuclear Medicine AND Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (CNMT) or R.T. (N) (ARRT). BLS certification. Hourly Pay Rate: $66.1252 / hr For candidates with >3 years of experience, may be considered for Molecular Imaging Tech II Per Diem Rate: $72.7376 / hr City of Hope employees pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work location.
