Medical Office Associate I, Per Diem, Days, AMG Multispecialty

Job Description Medical Office Associate (Front Desk Receptionist) Responsible for providing day-to-day support operations by performing administrative tasks and ensuring high-quality customer service to patients. The medical office associate manages both the front and back of the office, including billing support, scheduling, coding, patient communication, and filing. Principal Accountabilities Interview patients for case histories prior to appointments. Schedule and coordinate appointments. Accurately update and maintain patients' health records. Verify insurance coverage and assist the billing department with processing claims. Communicate test results to patients when directed by physicians or nursing professionals. Contact patients regarding appointments and answer billing questions. Assist patients with rescheduling appointments and other scheduling issues. Perform other related duties as assigned. Work with highest confidentiality and abide HIPA compliance. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Associates degree in Medical Office Management, Business, or related field. 3+ years of experience in a medical office environment or relevant area. 2+ years' administrative experience.
