Position Summary:
We are seeking a warm, polished, and passionate Bartender to anchor our bar program. In this role, you will be the face of Italian hospitality, crafting classic cocktails and refreshing zero-proof mocktails, presenting curated regional Italian wines, and guiding guests through our authentic food menu.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome and engage guests with attentive, hospitable service at the bar and lounge areas.
* Prepare handcrafted cocktails, spritzes, mocktails, and traditional Italian aperitivi and digestivi.
* Confidently introduce and sell our curated Southern Italian wine list, offering informed pairings.
* Guide bar guests through our food menu, taking orders and speaking knowledgeably about authentic Neapolitan specialties, including wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, and regional seafood dishes.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar that meets all health, safety, and operational standards.
* Accurately manage orders and payments through our point-of-sale system.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 1 to 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale, or polished dining environment.
* Strong knowledge of wine styles, classic mixology, and zero-proof beverage crafting.
* Passion for Italian food culture and eagerness to learn our regional recipes and ingredients.
* Excellent communication and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting.
* Valid Wisconsin responsible beverage server certification (or willingness to obtain before starting).
