Job Description:

- Utilize your nursing expertise through the entire nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Administer medications, monitor side effects, and ensure effective treatment while meticulously documenting patient histories.
- Educate patients, family members, and caregivers to promote understanding and engagement in their care plans.
- Employ critical thinking skills to assess the physical, psychosocial, cultural, and developmental needs of young patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the highest level of care.
- Develop and modify care plans tailored to meet individual patient needs using evidence-based practice.
- Implement patient care procedures and monitor the progression of treatment goals.
- Continue to evaluate care and treatments provided, ensuring a responsive approach to patient needs.
- Participate in safe practice initiatives that promote positive patient outcomes.
- Engage in leadership through the delivery of patient care, adhering to clinical policies and standards.
- Share your expertise in maintaining patient documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Guide the use of medical equipment by educating patients on appropriate usage.
- Process medical orders accurately and efficiently for various patient groups.

Requirements:


- Graduated from an accredited Registered Nursing program; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Completion of a Nurse Residency Program; 6 to 12 months of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting.
- RN license in good standing in the state of TX or a compact state.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.

Work Schedule:


- Full-time position: 5 Days, 8 Hours/day.
- Start date as soon as possible to fill a backfill replacement position.
