Level 2 Installer
The Level 2 Installer will perform all basic and intermediate installation work activities in central office environments. The Installer will be coached and mentored as needed. The Installer must clearly understand the installation and decommissioning of data center equipment. This includes: creating and applying accurate labels to cables and equipment; installing various types of cables (including fiber optic and copper) while adhering to industry standards and color codes; terminating RJ45 connectors on cables (to ensure reliable network connections); and working with power distribution units (PDUs), fiber optic cables, copper cables, and patch panels to ensure optimal network performance (preferred skill). Local resources only. The assignment is anticipated to last for approximately 6 months. Shift: Nights - Sunday evening to Friday morning - 9:30 pm to 5:30 am (100 percent nights).
