Managing indemnity claims remotely, the full-time salaried Lost Time Claims Specialist, Workers Compensation will investigate, evaluate, and determine compensability for work-related injury and disease claims while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure cost-effective outcomes. Key responsibilities Evaluates and establishes action plans for managing medical and indemnity benefits related to injury claims Decides claim outcomes using established policies, procedures, and guidelines while conducting thorough investigations Collaborates with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to facilitate timely and safe return to work Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred Three years of experience in workers' compensation insurance is required One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred Experience in claims practices, laws, and court procedures related to workers' compensation Ability to manage claims through the litigation process effectively
