About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: RN Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: At least one year of hands-on clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab with cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care environment. License: Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required. Certifications: Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certificate required. Must-Have: - Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. - One year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area required. Description: Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations. Ensure safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes throughout all cardiovascular procedures. Provide holistic support, addressing the physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients. Collaborate closely with physicians, offering continuous updates and timely communication regarding patient status. Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Manage supplies and inventory, gathering case-specific materials for efficient workflow. Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Continuously assess and document patient condition while in the Cardiovascular Lab. Support quality initiatives and participate in performance improvement activities. Engage in continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care and operational excellence. On-call requirements include every third weekend and at least 16 on-calls in a 6-week period.
