Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a critical access hospital environment
• Conduct home safety evaluations, wheelchair evaluations, workstation evaluations, and driving assessments
• Address conditions including fine motor deficits, hand/wrist/elbow/shoulder injuries, sensory deficits, generalized weakness, and cognitive impairments
• Deliver cognitive retraining and daily living skills training to support patient independence
• Perform fall prevention assessments and provide adaptive equipment training

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Nebraska or a Compact State
• Active BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a critical access hospital setting
• New graduate candidates will be considered
• Familiarity with a broad range of OT treatment areas including pulmonary rehabilitation support, cardiac rehabilitation, and surgical recovery
