Security Officer - Truck Gate

Wage: $16.75/hour Prior security experience preferred. Must be comfortable working with computers. This is a full-time position. Schedule: Tuesday through Sunday, shifts available from 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM or 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM. The officer will work inside a scale house/gatehouse, processing inbound and outbound truck traffic. Responsibilities include managing gate access control for employees and deliveries. Responsibilities Observe and report activities and incidents at the assigned client site, ensuring security and safety of client property and personnel. Actively monitor premises, including patrolling a variety of locations, preserving order while enforcing regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Provide customer service and information to employees and customers at the client site. Frequently sit, stand, and walk; may involve climbing stairs, walking on uneven terrain, and performing frequent lifting up to 10 pounds with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Qualifications Prior security experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Must pass a drug screen and background check. Must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers/guards.
