Job Description Concordia Visiting Nurses is a Medicare‑certified, state licensed, Medicaid approved home health agency operating in nine Western Pennsylvania counties. Working knowledge of health insurance, either in an eligibility or billing role. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficient in computer skills, including Word and Excel spreadsheets. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment. Familiarity with medical terminology. High school diploma or equivalent required. What will you do as an Insurance Verification Coordinator? Verify all potential payer sources for patients on an ongoing basis. Enter payer information and ensure patient details are updated in the agency’s software. Communicate with patients regarding their admission and potential financial responsibilities. Document and track patient insurance issues using Excel spreadsheets.
