The career opportunity for you:  

Recore Electrical Contractors is seeking an experienced and motivated Low Voltage Security Sales Representative to develop new business and manage customer relationships for security and low-voltage systems. This position is responsible for identifying sales opportunities, meeting with customers, understanding their security needs, developing solutions, preparing proposals, and closing projects.

The ideal candidate has experience selling access control, video surveillance/CCTV, intercom systems, structured cabling, and other low-voltage solutions to commercial, and industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling, and existing customer relationships.
• Meet with customers and conduct site visits to identify security and low-voltage requirements.
• Sell electronic security solutions including:
• Access control systems
• Video surveillance/CCTV
• Structured cabling and network infrastructure
• Audio/visual and other low-voltage systems
• Prepare estimates, proposals, scopes of work, and presentations.
• Work with customers to design cost-effective security solutions based on their needs and budget.
• Coordinate with estimators, project managers, technicians, and vendors to ensure accurate proposals and successful project delivery.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently pursue new opportunities.
• Follow up on proposals and negotiate pricing and terms to close sales.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, contractors, property managers, general contractors, and other industry partners.
• Identify opportunities for service agreements, upgrades, expansions, and additional security systems.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the company CRM.
• Meet or exceed established sales goals and revenue targets.
• Stay current on security technology, manufacturers, products, and industry trends.

Qualifications:  

2+ years of experience in security, low-voltage, electrical, telecommunications, or technology sales preferred.

• Knowledge of electronic security systems and low-voltage technologies.
• Proven ability to generate leads, develop relationships, and close sales.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Ability to read or understand basic construction documents, plans, and scopes of work is a plus.
• Experience with estimating and preparing proposals is preferred.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel locally for customer meetings and job-site visits.

Preferred Experience:  

Experience with manufacturers and platforms such as Hikvision, Hanwha, Axis, Verkada, Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, LenelS2, Brivo, Openpath, or similar security products is a plus.

Experience working with general contractors, electrical contractors, property managers, commercial building owners, schools, healthcare facilities, warehouses, and industrial customers is highly desirable.
