Akkodis is seeking a Buyer for a Contract with a client in Tempe, AZ. This role is responsible for evaluating vendor proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to achieve quality, delivery, and cost objectives.


Rate Range: $36/Hour to $40/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Buyer Job Responsibilities include:

• Source, evaluate, and procure materials, equipment, and services from approved suppliers in compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations.
• Analyze vendor quotations and proposals to identify cost-effective, technically acceptable, and compliant solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and purchase agreements to achieve optimal value and cost savings.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support quality, delivery, and performance objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to pricing, delivery schedules, and product quality.
• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, internal controls, and government contracting requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Working knowledge of government procurement regulations, including FAR/DFARS.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance.

Pay Details: $36.00 to $40.00 per hour
