Job Description

Location: Tahlequah, OK Discipline: Sterile Processing Tech Date Posted: October 05, 2026

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• No regularly scheduled overtime (subject to change based on unit needs)
• Call requirements: 6 days per month, including 1 weekend per month

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) is required
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous experience in sterile processing or a related field preferred
• Strong understanding of infection control practices
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Ability to work collaboratively within a surgical team

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment for use in 4 inpatient ORs, 5 outpatient ORs, and 2 outpatient endoscopy rooms
• Maintain an organized inventory of sterile supplies
• Uphold strict infection prevention protocols
• Respond to rotating call shifts as scheduled
• Support staff in the safe and timely preparation of necessary instruments for various procedures

$1,367 - $1,442/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
