As a Travel School-Based Occupational Therapist, you'll help students develop the functional, motor, and sensory skills they need to participate successfully in the classroom and throughout their daily school routines. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of educators and related service providers dedicated to student success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students with fine motor development, sensory processing, self-care, handwriting, visual-motor integration, and classroom participation.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom accommodations as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable) in accordance with district and state requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active California OT license or eligibility to obtain licensure before the assignment begins.
• NBCOT certification.
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
