Manufacturing Inspector

Job Title

Location: Piney Flats, TN

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure the highest quality products and services for customers.

Inspect parts, assemblies, raw materials, and finishes to verify compliance with design specifications.

Operate various equipment and testing instruments as required, working from blueprints, diagrams, and engineering orders.

Approve or reject manufacturing work based on required standards, communicating approval/rejection status to manufacturing and engineering teams.

Adhere fully to work instructions and related policies, procedures, and processes.

Understand basic blueprints and manufacturing drawings.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED with 0-1 years of experience relevant to job duties.

Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to use basic measuring equipment such as scales, calipers, and tape measures.

Ability to complete required documentation under supervision.

Ability to perform entry-level inspections in assigned areas.

Strong communication and organization skills.

Ability to stand for long periods, up to the duration of the shift.

Ability to kneel, squat, stand, sit, and carry throughout the day.

Ability to wear all protective equipment (e.g., protective gloves, safety glasses).

Ability to work amidst mild chemical odors such as lacquer thinner, proseal, and adhesives.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.

Ability to work in an environment with exposure to various chemicals, dust, odors, and machine heat cycles.
