Digital Field Service Engineer

Salary: $88,000 - 128,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 5 years of relevant experience.
• We prefer a bachelors degree in IT or electronics.
• We prefer 2 years of IT or medical device field service experience.
• We prefer a strong background in networking, electronics, and mechanical systems.
• We prefer experience connecting medical devices to hospital or surgery center networks.
• We prefer prior field service experience supporting medical devices, hospital networks, and firewalls.
• We prefer familiarity with EHR/EMR systems, DICOM communication, and cloud technology.
• We prefer practical knowledge of ServiceMax or CRM tools.
• We prefer experience working remotely in customer-facing roles and resolving complex customer situations.
• We prefer strong technical support, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• We prefer familiarity with hospital operating room and surgery center protocols.
• We require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• We require a current valid drivers license with a good driving record over the last three years.
• We require the ability to work independently from a home office 20% of the time and in the field 80% of the time.
• We require the ability to travel overnight about 50% of the time or as needed.
• We require the ability to work flexible hours, overtime on short notice, and on-call support after normal working hours.
• We require proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint.

• We lead planning and installation activities for our connected products.
• We coordinate with customer IT teams and our commercial teams to ensure successful system performance.
• We carry out corrective maintenance, retrofits, upgrades, and preventive service work.
• We troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment at customer and demo sites.
• We maintain strong customer satisfaction and respond quickly to customer concerns, quality issues, and medical safety matters.
• We manage our daily schedule and keep timely communication with customers, dispatch, managers, regional partners, and cross-functional teams.
• We complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
• We support Sales, Clinical, In-house teams, and other Field Engineers as needed.
• We track inventory, maintain accurate records, and return unused or defective parts promptly.
• We promote service contract offerings and support the sale of service agreements within our assigned territory.
