The starting pay rate is $16.00. Primary Duties Provide transportation for Oaklawn clients at South Bend, Elkhart and Goshen campuses. Drive in and around St. Joseph and Elkhart Counties. Have regular contact with the coordinator of transportation to receive work assignments and discuss any unusual problems or concerns regarding clients or the transportation function. Interact daily with clients and routinely with staff of other programs or departments to arrange transportation for their clients. High School education or GED preferred. If lacking a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, previous 1 year experience in Transportation/Driving is required. A valid driver's license is required. For Hire endorsement (for hire – non CMV only) required. Must have a safe driving record. Must pass a driving test, facilitated by Oaklawn.
