Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Automotive Technician role based in St Louis, MO. The Automotive Technician will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including inspections, oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and basic adjustments. The role involves diagnosing and completing automotive repairs, addressing issues with brakes, engines, suspension, and other mechanical systems. The technician will document findings, communicate recommended services to service advisors or leadership, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and organized work area, using diagnostic tools and equipment properly, and following all shop procedures and safety guidelines. Qualifications Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and routine Maintenance & Repair, including inspections and preventive services. Proficiency in performing Oil Changes and related fluid services according to manufacturer specifications. Hands‑on experience with general Automotive Repair, including brakes, engine components, and basic electrical systems. Knowledge of Suspension systems, including inspection, diagnosis, and repair or replacement of key components. Ability to use diagnostic tools, shop equipment, and repair manuals effectively. Attention to detail, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to safe work practices. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented shop environment. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive technology is preferred. Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic in a professional shop setting is highly beneficial.
