This is your opportunity to solve complex challenges, collaborate across disciplines, and make a lasting difference.You will need to live within commuting distance to our Portage, Michigan office as this is a hybrid role and you will need to be in the office 3 days a week and can work from home on other days.What You Will DoDesign, develop, and verify components and subsystems for medical devices with minimal supervision.Translate user needs into design specifications and deliver system-level solutions.Lead prototyping and testing efforts tovalidatedesign performance.Identifyand resolve complex design issues using data-driven analysis to improve processes and outcomes.Ensure compliance with industry standards and mentor others in design control practices.Create andmaintainengineering documentation, including Design History Files.Collaborate cross-functionallyto drive projects from concept through launch.What You Will NeedRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering(Mechanical, Biomedical, or related field).Minimum four years of relevant engineering experience.Experience designing mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies.Proficiencyin engineering drawing creation and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Experience in project management and financial analysis.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.Familiarity with risk management and quality systems in a regulated environment.Previous experience in medical device or regulated industry.USN: $89,300 - $148,800 USD AnnualTravel Percentage: 10%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
