Surgical Technologist - Level II Trauma Center

Join a Level II trauma center as a Surgical Technologist, providing essential support in an inpatient main OR and floating to the outpatient Same Day Surgery center as necessary. You will play a crucial role in the surgical team, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.

Schedule

10-hour shifts, with varied shifts and days off, including possible weekends. No call required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by providing instruments, sutures, and other supplies.
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures.
• Prepare and transport patients to and from the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• One (1) year of recent hospital experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Operation Room Technician course.
• Current CPR certification.
