Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

This is a Day Shift position, 5x8-hour schedule from 08:00 - 16:30.

This is a 13-week contract position.

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide evaluation and treatment for patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. This role requires interaction with various patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions to support communication and swallowing improvements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of charge experience preferred.
• Certifications required: BLS, CCC-SLP, FEES*, MBSImP*, and AZ Fingerprint Card.
• Experience with adult outpatient services is essential.
• Familiarity with charting systems, preferably Cerner.
