The Guest Service Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all guests. This position involves managing reservations, addressing inquiries and complaints, facilitating smooth check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining accurate records using various software platforms. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support guests and collaborate with team members across different shifts, including days, evenings, rotating schedules, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and needs to ensure satisfaction
• Manage reservation bookings and modifications accurately
• Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally
• Handle complaints with empathy and efficiency to maintain positive guest relations
• Conduct check-in and check-out procedures smoothly and accurately
• Maintain effective communication with guests and internal teams
• Keep detailed and accurate records using Property Management System (PMS), CRM, POS, and booking engines
• Process guest payments efficiently with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong skills in customer service and communication
• Proficient in conflict resolution and problem solving
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
