(60%) Assisting with the daily operations of the laboratory including maintenance of phage and bacteria stocks. (10%) Preparing manuscripts and presenting findings at conferences in coordination with the PI, for the dissemination of your findings. Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position: PhD degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related fields. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and or Competencies: PhD‑level competence to conduct independent research; to include knowledge of literature, and abilities in hypothesis generation, experimental design, conducting experiments, drawing conclusions, writing reports and manuscripts, delivering oral presentations.
