Product Manager - Financial Operations

Role Description

In the Financial Operations team, we build the tools and infrastructure that let merchants take control of their payments:

• Reconciling funds
• Resolving disputes
• Monitoring performance
• Automating operations

As a Product Manager, you will own a sub-area within that, managing problems, prioritization, and outcomes over multiple quarters. You will work closely with a dedicated engineering team and design partner, alongside GTM, and report to the Product lead for the area.

What will you be doing?

• Owning the outcomes for your sub-area of Financial Operations over multiple quarters
• Defining problems worth solving by synthesizing merchant feedback, support and dispute data, competitive moves, and platform constraints
• Planning and delivering initiatives independently
• Writing specs that anticipate edge cases in payments operations
• Partnering closely with engineering on feasibility and technical trade-offs
• Owning launch readiness and driving rapid post-launch iteration
• Representing your sub-area to merchants and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• A track record of owning a product sub-area or significant feature set end to end
• The ability to define problems independently from messy inputs
• Sound, autonomous trade-offs on scope, quality, and technical debt
• Technical fluency to partner with engineers on feasibility and integration implications
• Clear, structured communication that keeps teams aligned

Requirements

• Experience in payments, fintech, or operational and back-office products
• Comfort with data analysis to define and track outcome metrics
