What You’ll Do: As a Physical Therapist, you will provide exceptional care to patients. Your responsibilities will include: · Conducting initial evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. · Administering various therapeutic treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, modalities (such as ultrasound, heat/ice therapy, and electrical stimulation), and patient education. · Educating patients on exercise programs, posture correction, and injury prevention to ensure long-term recovery and improved functional outcomes. · Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. · Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to meet their rehabilitation goals. · Documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with departmental policies and industry standards. · Providing excellent patient education to empower individuals in managing their rehabilitation and preventing future injuries. · Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines. What We’re Looking For: · Experience: Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred. · Licensure: Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Physical Therapist license in the state at the time of hire. · Education: A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program is required. · Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire. · Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and team members. Strong organizational and time-management skills. · Patient Care: Ability to deliver high-quality, compassionate care for a wide range of patients, including those with orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions. · Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance.
