Job Description:


- Exciting opportunity for an ICU RN to work night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
- Block scheduling approved based on staffing needs-let's work together to create your ideal schedule!
- Float between different ICU units to enhance your skills and versatility.
- Expected patient ratios: 1:2/1:3 for optimal care.
- Minimum of 6 weekend shifts required in 6 weeks-be part of a team that makes an impact!
- Special preference for candidates with Neuro ICU experience.


Facility Highlights:


- Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care
- Total Staffed Beds: 379
- Designation: Level II Trauma Center
- Dress Code: Solid navy blue uniforms for licensed staff; solid hunter green for unlicensed personnel.
- Parking: Free in unrestricted spaces-easy access to employee and visitor lots!

Patient Care Details:


- Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
- Daily Census: 13
- Number of Beds: 16


Unit Details:


- Specializations include neurosurgical care, stroke management, and intensive neuro monitoring.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams like IV, Physical Therapy, and Rapid Response.
- Utilize advanced equipment: External ventricular drains, ventilators, and more!

Skills & Certification Requirements:


- Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Skills desired: Management of ventilated patients, central line care, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, and ICU procedural management.

Other Important Information:


- Valid state license (Compact) must be in hand at submission.
- Reference checks: 2 recent references covering at least one year of experience.
- Travelers may be expected to float to nearby facilities-flexibility is key!
