Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a personable, detail-oriented, and proactive Team Member Services Specialist to join our Home Office Human Resources team.

Our Team Member Services team supports team members and leaders throughout the employee experiencefrom hiring and onboarding through benefits, leaves, employee support, and separation. This role is often one of the first impressions of the HR department, so we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, builds relationships easily, and approaches each interaction with a "how can I help?" mentality.

What You'll Do

As a Team Member Services Specialist, you will support a variety of HR functions while serving as a trusted resource for team members and leaders across Hillcrest.

• Facilitate post-offer and pre-onboarding activities for new team members.
• Support the new-hire process and help ensure required items are completed accurately and on time.
• Assist with the setup and delivery of General Onboarding.
• Support new team members with required documents, photos, and onboarding-related questions.
• Maintain accurate and organized team member records and files.
• Process team member information accurately and efficiently within HR systems.
• Support payroll-related updates, education records, benefit information, and other employee-data changes.
• Assist team members with benefit questions and enrollment.
• Process benefit deductions, COBRA-related items, and associated billing.
• Support team members and leaders with FMLA and leave-of-absence processes.
• Assist with Workers' Compensation and unemployment administration.
• Conduct exit interviews with departing team members.
• Prepare and distribute recurring HR and operational reports.
• Track items such as performance reviews, required notices, and other team member-related deadlines.
• Respond to team member and leader questions in a timely, professional, and approachable manner.
• Research questions and issues rather than simply passing them along.
• Use critical thinking to identify the right next step when the answer is not immediately clear.
• Maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive team member information.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and the overall team member experience.
• Step in and help wherever needed to support the Team Member Services department.

The role supports the employee lifecycle across hiring, onboarding, benefits, leaves, employee records, reporting, and separation.

Just as important is how you interact with people. The Team Member Services Specialist is often a team member's first introduction to HR. We want that experience to feel helpful, welcoming, responsive, and professional.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 12 years of HR Generalist, HR Specialist, HR Coordinator, or similar Human Resources experience.
• Experience supporting multiple areas of HR rather than only one specialized function.
• A naturally helpful and service-oriented approach.
• A personable communication style and ability to build relationships with people at all levels of the organization.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, go-getter mindset.
• Ability to recognize what needs to be done and take appropriate action.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without losing track of details.

• Strong technology skills and the ability to learn HR systems quickly.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 years of Human Resources Generalist or similar broad HR experience preferred.
• Experience supporting HR functions such as onboarding, benefits, employee records, leaves, recruiting, or employee support strongly preferred.
• Previous experience working in an HRIS or similar employee-management system preferred.

The underlying position requires at least one year of experience performing human resources, benefits, or recruitment functions.
