Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in circulating within the operating room and possess expertise in orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgery cases. Collaboration and adaptability are essential, as this position requires readiness for fluctuating schedules and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently circulate for orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgery procedures.
• Assist in maintaining a sterile environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Participate in surgical preparations and assist the surgical team as needed.
• Provide support during complex neuro and orthopedic cases.
• Be comfortable with Da Vinci robotic cases.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of OR RN or combined OR experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience in circulating surgical procedures is mandatory, scrub experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to perform independently in circulating roles, specifically in orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgery.
• Certification and expertise in knowledge of surgical techniques and instruments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule Requirements

Shifts will vary based on operational needs, including potential start times of 7 a.m., 9:30 a.m., or 1 p.m. The position requires participation in on-call rotations, including at least one weekend per month. Time off requests must be kept to a minimum and will be subject to approval prior to confirmation.

Additional Information

This role includes mandatory overtime as needed to ensure unit coverage, and the potential for floating to different departments or facilities within close proximity may be required.
