Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year ICU experience preferred License: Required Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice Certifications: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must-Have: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues. Develops plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes. Implements plans, coordinates care delivery, and promotes health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing care in a safe and humane environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients and family members, as well as team members. Directly provides health information to patients and families. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and well-being of associates and patients through adherence to vaccination requirements. Participates in E-Verify as a condition of employment.
