Job Description

Join our team as an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant. In this role, you will embrace the core values of our organization, ensuring superior quality in all aspects of patient care. Your focus will be on maintaining patient and employee safety through compliance with safety policies and procedures, while providing essential therapeutic interventions directed towards achieving long-term patient goals.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment goals and plans established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in therapeutic interventions including posture training, strengthening exercises, and functional skills training.
• Train patients in the use of orthotics, prosthetics, and assistive devices.
• Apply various modalities for patient treatment and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient progress and educate patients and families on body mechanics.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, adhering to sanitation protocols.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals regarding therapy administered.
• Participate in team conferences and special projects to improve patient care quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• CAPTE Certified.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
