Telemetry RN Job Details – Salem, MA Position Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Registered Nurse Contract) Location: Salem, MA 01970 – Massachusetts healthcare jobs Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (October 5, 2025 – January 3, 2026) Setting: Float Pool – Med/Surg Telemetry Units Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights; every other weekend) Hours per Week: 36 Patient Ratio: Days/Evenings up to 5:1; Nights up to 6:1 Charting System: EPIC EMR Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN License (Registered Nurse) BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience (Telemetry nursing experience required) Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, managing cardiac drips, and interpreting telemetry strips TR Band experience preferred Ability to float between 8 different Med/Surg Telemetry units Completion of required onboarding exams and health clearances Telemetry RN Responsibilities Float throughout the hospital to all Med/Surg Telemetry areas (including Davenport 5, 7, 8, 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, & Overflow) Perform cardiac monitoring, measure intervals, and interpret telemetry strips every 4 hours Administer and manage cardiac drips for telemetry patients Provide care for ED border patients, medication nurse duties in the acute mental health unit, and care for non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records Join our healthcare team in Salem, MA and take the next step in your nursing career.
