Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Alcoma Dental Associates . This position is for full time Monday-Thursday.

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
• Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques
• Familiarity with medical imaging procedures
• Experience with documentation review and adherence to HIPAA regulations
• Knowledge of infection control practices within a dental setting
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Duties

• Conduct patient assessments and review medical history
• Perform dental cleanings and preventive procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and disease prevention
• Take needed x-rays including bitewings, PAs, and panoramic x-rays using a unit on which you would be trained
• Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft dental software
• Administer local anesthesia under the direction of a dentist if certified and if needed
