Position Summary:

We are seeking a Blending Technician to measure and blend raw materials according to established formulas and quality standards at a manufacturing facility in Huntersville, NC. In this hands-on role, you'll operate and monitor blending equipment, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform routine maintenance to support product quality and efficient production.

Responsibilities:

• Follow blending instructions and add proper ingredients and record correctly    
• Complete sanitation and CIP per schedule      
• Using an automated inventory system to tack and manage ingredients  
• Complete blending sheets legibly and accurately  
• Transport ingredients using forklift    
• Remaining familiar with the basic machine functions to perform the tasks stated above    
• Performing other work-related duties as assigned    
• Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and following safety regulations  
• Adhering to all company policies including but not limited to: GMP, PPE, Food Safety, Safety, Gluten Free, Sanitation, etc.  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience, preferably in a beverage manufacturing facility.
• Previous experience within a high-speed industrial environment preferred.  
• Precious blending and batching experience is highly preferred.
• Attention to detail skills is required with a focus on accuracy.  
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills  
• English proficiency including understanding, reading, writing, and speaking. Must be able to read and understand plant directives and communicate clearly and effectively with team members and department leads.  
• Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, sitting, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch.    
• Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 lbs.    
• Non-slip shoes are required. Additional PPE provided  

Schedule:

• Nights | 2-2-3 | 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

Compensation:

• $17.00 per hour
