Role Overview: A licensed Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, assessing, and delivering patient care according to physician-established plans. Provides supervision for Physical Therapy Assistants and conducts peer evaluations. Perform comprehensive assessments, including evaluation of physical functioning and treatment planning in collaboration with physicians, patients, and caregivers. Carry out prescribed treatments or supervise PTAs; establish and instruct in home exercise programs, documenting instructions appropriately. Monitor patient progress, report changes to physicians, and communicate with care team members. Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to policies, and ensure confidentiality and compliance with all regulations including HIPAA. Meet licensing and experience requirements, including current licensure in the state and minimum one-year clinical experience under supervision. Possess a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance, as part of the safety program. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited PT program, licensure in the state, and relevant experience.
