Marshfield Medical Center - Park Falls and MMC - Minocqua are looking for a full-time CRNA - Beeper Call to join a new Anesthesia team. 1,720 hours per year, $200 per hour for any additional hours worked. Up to $100,000 for Student Loan Assistance or Sign-on Bonus based on commitment. 24-hour beeper call with 20-minute call-response (designated call room if needed). Call is 1:4.

Job Summary

Responsible for the administration of anesthesia. Administers anesthesia or sedation to patients undergoing a variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures. Develops and conducts pre-anesthetic plan for the patient as well as write orders before, after, and during procedures appropriately. Works with and collaborates with providers caring for the patient. Communicates with patients, family members and others on the health care team. Evaluates and orders diagnostic tests as needed. Monitors patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, using current techniques to adjust appropriately with the anesthesia plan. Ability to work with growth and development needs of all client populations.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree required from an approved and accredited educational program in specific area of advanced practice. Masters degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) preferred. Requires current unencumbered licensure to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) from the State Board of Nursing in the state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position. CRNA certification required and maintained through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Practice Details

Marshfield Medical Center - Park Falls and MMC - Minocqua are looking for a full-time CRNA At Home Call to join our Anesthesia team to be based at our newly renovated Park Falls hospital. There is an annual requirement of 1,720 hours per year with additional compensation available for additional shifts worked beyond a 1.0 FTE. At home call requires a call response time of 20 minutes (call room available if needed). Monthly call averages 4 weekday call shifts and 1-2 weekend call shifts. Post- call days are associated with every call shift. Minocqua and Park Falls, in Wisconsin, are community-based hospitals that support upper Wisconsin. Minocqua and Park Falls are in the Northern Market of the Marshfield System. Park Falls is a critical access hospital. When not doing cases at Park Falls you will assist in doing cases at Minocqua. Park Falls operates one OR doing primarily endoscopy and general surgery cases.

Compensation Package

Competitive compensation package includes: Annual compensation of $245,000 if you complete required number of shifts for 1.0 FTE In addition, a $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 5 years (this will be subject to a contractual agreement specifying all details) Sanford Health offers a nationally competitive salary with an additional physician benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, CME allowance, allowed time away, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, and a relocation allowance.
