Talascend is currently seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity with our client in Vista, California .
Overview
This role involves performing assembly operations to build products, working from diagrams and drawings, using hand and power tools, and contributing to day-to-day objectives through routine tasks with some deviations. The position requires working under moderate supervision to complete assembly activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations
- Work from diagrams and drawings to assemble products
- Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks
- Ensure quality and proper functioning of assembled products
- Make minor adjustments to work methods to resolve routine problems
- Communicate with colleagues within the work area to exchange information and clarify instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in assembly or related fields
Drug Screen may be required.
