RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist occupational therapists in evaluating and assessing patients' needs and capabilities
- Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy and interventions to patients as part of their treatment plan
- Teach patients new skills and techniques to enhance their independence and daily functioning
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
- Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care, experience is a plus
- Experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is preferred
- Certification as an occupational therapy assistant
