We are committed to building the best primary care environment for patients and are seeking healthcare enthusiasts to join us./ppThe Patient Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for improving Canos enrollment growth objectives by discussing enrollment and eligibility options with members/non-members. The Patient Enrollment Coordinator is fluent with various payor sources (Medicare, HMOs, Medicaid, etc.) of primary care and physiotherapy services./ppThe Patient Enrollment Coordinator guides the patient/prospective patient through the insurance/cash pay process, explain payment plan options, and assists patient with membership enrollment or credit applications./ppEssential Duties Responsibilities/pulliProfessionally represents Cano Health; provides centers tours./liliIs an expert at Canos services and products. Identifies any prospects/members needs, answers questions related to healthcare access and Cano service offerings, discusses cost of service (if needed) and facilitates enrollment into health plans or payment plans./liliAssists patients with credit application, if applicable./liliCollaborates and maintains a healthy relationship with health plan agents and brokers./liliResponsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment goals and growth targets, as established by management./liliVerifies insurance and benefit coverage on all of patients insurance plans for each service being provided./liliMaintains lines of communication and follow up with current members to assure there is no loss of benefit coverage./liliCollaborates with Community Outreach associates on center and community activities events, as needed./liliRegularly generates and submits reports on new enrollment for insured/cash pay members./liliDelivers presentations, attends meetings, and distributes educational materials to members/potential members./li/ulpAdditional Duties Responsibilities/pulliAbility to remain positive, courteous, and professional./liliMaintain adequate supplies, equipment, and materials (informational material, promotional items)./liliSelf-motivated and may work with little (indirect) supervision to achieve goals and objectives./liliCommunicate with fellow associates to identify areas of opportunity to enhance membership growth./liliRegularly generates and submits reports on new enrollment for insured/cash pay members./liliAdditional duties may be assigned./li/ulpSupervisory Responsibilities/pulliNo supervisory responsibilities./li/ulpEducation Experience/pulliMin. 3 years of related experience (e.g., marketing, business development, community engagement, healthcare industry)./liliDemonstrated exceptional networking and negotiations skills./liliDemonstrated strong public speaking and presentations skills./liliDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with little supervision./liliMust be highly detail-oriented, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationships with internal and external customers./liliMust be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision, and be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends./li/ulpEducation Requirements/ppEducation Level/ppDiscipline/ppRequired/ppHigh School/ppKnowledge, Skills Proficiencies/pulliMust be fluent in English and primary language of target population (ie., Spanish)/liliMust be IT proficient working with electronic medical records (preferably eCW), health plan portals, and IT systems (Care Credit and MicroSoft products including Share Point, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)/liliUnderstanding of Medicaid and Medicare (including healthcare markets)/liliDetail oriented to ensure accuracy of reports and data/liliSales and marketing experience, highly preferred/liliPrevious healthcare marketing, enrollment and/or grassroots/community outreach experience a plus/li/ulpPhysical Requirements/ppThis position works under usual office conditions. The employee is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
