Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and experience working in a fast-paced business environment. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries in Sage 50.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Generate monthly financial reports for management review and decision-making.

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis.

Manage cash reporting processes and assist with cash flow forecasting.

Participate in weekly finance meetings to review cash requirements and other financial matters.

Support the finance department with financial analysis, reporting, special projects, and ad hoc requests.

Maintain accurate financial records through data entry, filing, and document management.

Assist with administrative tasks, correspondence, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting required.

1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.

Experience with ERP systems; Sage 50 experience is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Strong mathematical aptitude and computer proficiency.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Additional Requirements

All candidates must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
