Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments to determine dental hygiene needs Perform professional dental cleanings and prophylaxis Provide oral health education and promote preventive care Administer dental X-rays following safety protocols Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment details Implement infection control procedures to ensure a sterile environment Prepare patients for treatment and assist as needed Sterilize and maintain dental equipment Assist in treatment planning in collaboration with dentists Communicate effectively with dentists and support staff Preferred Qualifications Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene Proficiency in dental radiography Strong patient communication skills Knowledge of infection control procedures High attention to detail Effective time management abilities
