Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Valid Nursing License required at time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, NRP, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Previous charge experience, patient ratio experience, charting system experience Description: 1st Timer - ER RN required. Position will not float between units. On-call is not required. Weekends are required on a rotating basis. Block schedules are not required. Expected patient ratios are 1:3-4. 48-hour shifts are not approved. Type of Facility is a Critical Access Hospital. Total staff beds are 23. All RN/Allied scrub colors are permitted. Charting system used is Epic. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 16. Number of visits per day is approximately 16. There are 7 rooms and 11 beds available. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy. Validity of licensure will be verified. References covering one year will be requested prior to start. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in contract termination. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless it is for an agreed-upon interview. Modules are non-billable and average 16 hours spent per year. Completion of modules is required before the start and is self-reported. Time spent on modules will be recorded.
